Stiegler's in Jackson Hole-after 25 Years closes April 4th, 2010

Peter Stiegler, we told him how much we loved his restaurant and said, "So long, (he is planning on living part of the year in Austria, near Linz where he and his brother Pepi are from) and have a nice life, when you won't have to be in the restaurant every night."
His restaurant is going out on a high note: Trip Advisor.
Bufford, came from Texas to ski and eat, what a gentleman!

Photos I took while we were on our way to Jackson Hole. If you are ever nearby, very much worth a stop.

Wondie TOASTS my Birthday-After cooking me turkey pasta

It poured so hard on March 28th, we bagged Happy Hour plans...stayed home and cooked. Then, just as the sun should be setting, the rain cleared and the "sun break" appeared.
I always say it's besides the point, he says: "It's Seattle."

Chef by Request-Day #2

Eggs with Swiss Cheese/Mushrooms & Fresh Fruit (top left)
Grilled Steak Salad with Lettuce, Vegatables and Tomatoes (bottom left)
Asian flavored Edemanie Salad (snack)
Seattle Snack Bar (top middle)
Chicken with Broccoli & Tomato Sauce (botton right)

This was a very postive experience. I actually couldn't eat all the food that was provided to me and still have the steak salad from the second delivery left. The edemanie salad was really great and I am going to try to recreate it, it is a keeper with a light sesame oil dressing, celery, water chestnuts and crispy carrots....Yum!
