Mayuri Indian Cuisine opens new restaurant; moves Bellevue location
North & South Indian: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal meats authentically prepared and presented
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Redmond, WA August 28, 2015
The owners of the Mayuri Family of food businesses, a leader in specialty foods in the Seattle Area, are closing their popular Bellevue – (Overlake) restaurant and moving it to a freestanding building on Bell-Red Road a few blocks away. The new location, also (Overlake), has a Redmond address. Situated on a prominent corner fronting Bell-Red Road the restaurant is surrounded by a large guest parking lot and a seasonal patio adjacent to the saffron colored building, the restaurant’s new home.
Renovations are ongoing and opening of the 130 seat Indian restaurant and bar is slated for mid-September. “We are happy to be expanding and adding a bar: beer, wine and cocktail service will now be available to our loyal customers,” says Ramesh Bachala founder of Mayuri Indian Cuisine. The move allows for a significate upgrade to the dining experience for many day-time tech workers and local Bellevue patrons. The new location also has a larger kitchen and will have a contemporary feel. Happy Hour and Daily Specials join the current format of an abundantly, fresh lunch buffet with quick, friendly service and a la carte dinner menu.
“Our customers are Indian and non-Indian, coming from our eclectic neighborhood which has added apartments and businesses within walking distance. We think this physical expansion and enhancement, plus adding beer, wine and a cocktail program will serve us well to keep pace with customer demand and sustain Mayuri into the future.” says Ramesh.
