Bake's Place Bellevue Celebrates 2nd Anniversary as "BEST NEW RESTAURANT" on Eastside

BELLEVUE, WA June 17, 2014 Bake’s Place has been named the “Best New Restaurant” on the Eastside for 2014, in a prestigious readers’ poll. This is the second year that the popular Bellevue bistro has been honored by the readers of an Eastside focused magazine. Last year, the same readership awarded another coveted title to Bake’s Place, “Best Place to be Entertained on the Eastside”.

Since its relocation to Bellevue in June of 2012, Bake’s Place has become a lively gathering place for downtown residents and workers, as well as food and music aficionados from throughout the region. Over the past two years, Bake’s has expanded its offerings to accommodate the diverse tastes of the rapidly growing neighborhood. During the week, guests can enjoy daily lunches and Happy Hours, casual dinners with acoustic background music and late night, no-cover blues on Friday. On the weekends, Bake’s presents ticketed events that feature top Northwest artists, as well as national and international touring acts. During warm weather months, the 3500 square foot patio, the largest in downtown Bellevue, offers a secluded hideaway for relaxation and dining. The recent addition of a 23’ by 14’ HD screen has enabled the venue to also feature major sporting events and other special broadcasts. “It’s been exciting and challenging,” says owner Craig Baker, “Downtown Bellevue is continuing its growth boom and our operational model has evolved based on neighborhood demand.”

Throughout the years, Bake’s Place has received numerous accolades and awards as a live music venue. Baker is pleased that they are also now being recognized as a top-rate restaurant and bar. The eclectic menu features artisan cuisine that is inspired by street foods from around the globe and includes numerous small plate options, as well as full entrees. Beverage offerings include beer, wine and an innovative selection of craft cocktails made with small batch spirits.

In June, Bake’s Place marks its second year anniversary in downtown Bellevue.
